Out of the box the picture is not sharp at all. Better with HD channels, but still not as clear as expected. After looking through the manual and troubleshooting, still can’t find a decent solution. Don’t know if this a defective tv or just the way it’s supposed to look. Toshiba customer support not available, so will try to contact them tomorrow.

The most brilliant, correct accurate TV ever. In 60 years of watching TV

nothing comes close to Toshiba Lcd. BUT, I’ve heard that led’s are the furure. As an 78 year old Scotch man I expect you will give us even better.

According to the stats on this page, this 1080p LCD has a resolution of 1366 x 768. Since, by definition, 1080p would require a vertical resolution of 1080 lines, this is obviously NOT a 1080p LCD.
